If you've come looking for my software, I suppose you've come to the right place.

I suppose you'd like to download it, as well? You're in luck, for all of my software is free - in fact, two are free under the GNU GPL.

ViewpointKiller attempts to fully remove Viewpoint Media Player, Viewpoint Manager, and Viewpoint Toolbar. It will not do this if you just run the program, rather, you select which variant of Viewpoint to remove in the menu. You can remove all three or any of the three you wish. The program generates a log file for you to post on a spyware fighting forum, if you feel the need to do so. ViewpointKiller is at version 1.30 beta.

ViewpointKiller is no longer in development. Thanks to all those who downloaded the program.

PastIconsFlusher is a small program that attempts to clean out the 'Past Items' list in the 'Customize Notifications' listbox in Windows XP and Windows Vista. This program is for Windows XP and Windows Vista. Again, the program will not run automatically if you just run it, you must click Yes to proceed. PastIconsFlusher has several command-line switches. You can find more information about them in the readme located in the 'pasticonsflusher.zip' file. PastIconsFlusher is at version 0.1.8 stable. The program is written in C++, using the Win32 API. It should compile without warnings or errors in Bloodshed.net's Dev-C++ 4.9.9.2. PastIconsFlusher is free under the GNU GPL, version 2.

I have heard some complaints about the Tray Order being reset and Windows being unable to remember what your preferences are with the little icons (always show, always hide, etc). I have tried to see if I can fix this, but there seems to be no way to do this. If you know how to get around this, drop me an email. This bugfix would complete the program.

Update: I received an email that told me if you number the shortcuts in the order you wish for them to appear in your tray, they will stay that way even after you run PastIconsFlusher. I have no interest in putting this feature into PastIconsFlusher at this time, as this seems like it would be for very specific setups only. Still, I thought I'd pass it on.

JavaRa is a small program that checks for updates of the Java JRE and removes old potentially vulnerable versions. Simply click "Check for Updates" or "Remove Older Versions" to start the process. JavaRa is at version 1.10, and is free under the GNU GPL, version 2. For more information, read the JavaRa readme here. There is a support forum for JavaRa, kindly hosted by Tarun at lunarsoft.net. If you have questions about JavaRa, please consider posting them there so that we can all benefit from the answer.
